Academic Interventions

Core Offer

Our provision offer can be facilitated face to face on one of our 7 sites, within schools settings, or off site as required e.g. in a community setting or pupils home.

The package of education delivery is based on enabling children and young people to access learning safely and confidently through a Readiness-Based Learning model. This approach recognises that readiness for learning changes throughout the day and adapts accordingly.

We structure support in three flexible layers:

Grounding

Low-Entry

Core Offer

Readiness-based Learning

Movement between these stages is by invitation, never force. Choice and agency remain central, with refusal accepted as a signal of need. Staff draw on co-regulation, tailored scaffolding, and trusted relationships to guide children and young people towards engagement.

The model is trauma-informed, with safety and connection placed before academic demand. As a result, children and young people show improved regulation, attendance, and willingness to learn. Academic and social-emotional development are valued equally, ensuring holistic progress. Above all, our goal is to equip children and young people with the skills and confidence to reintegrate into their next or current setting, so gains made within our provision continue to have impact.
