For individuals seeking assistance in accessing education, including those with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), and Special Educational Needs (SEN), we provide comprehensive support services. Our offerings include therapeutic support, sports and behavior mentoring, Forestry School programs, and top-tier academic tutoring and teaching. These services can be arranged for in-person sessions within schools, conducted online, or facilitated off-site, tailored to individual needs.

Emotional Literacy

Emotional Literacy

At Oak Activities we believe in encouraging emotional literacy as a fundamental aspect of personal growth and wellbeing. Our approach understands the development of emotional awareness, expression, and regulation skills to empower young people. Through education, support and practice we strive to build an organisation where emotional intelligence is valued and nurtured.

Lego Therapy

Lego Therapy

A therapeutic approach that uses Lego bricks as a medium for promoting social skills, communication, and collaboration in young people. An effective way to support the social, emotional development of a young person which promotes self-confidence and a sense of belonging within a group.

Art Therapy

Art Therapy

Using Art and Craft techniques as a vehicle to support students’ emotions and expression, alongside opportunities to talk to a trusted and empathetic adult.

Cooking Therapy

Cooking Therapy

A practical session that is completed alongside one of our trained team. As the session develops and trust is gained, students are able to open up and communicate, allowing them to feel heard and supported.

Drawing & Talking

Drawing & Talking

A Safe, gentle and non-intrusive 1:1 therapeutic approach, used mainly for young people that have suffered distress or trauma.

Sports Mentoring

Sports Therapy

Using a range of sport equipment and techniques, this approach is used to explore students choices and develop their self-awareness, hand eye coordination and challenge the unhealthy or self-destructive behaviours seen.

Forest School

Forest School

An outdoor education, that takes place in an outdoor space at our sites. This helps develop pupils’ healthy engagement with risk, problem solving and self-discovery, using the natural world as a vehicle.

Our qualified primary, secondary and SEN teachers are highly skilled and trained in teaching to all abilities and in all core subjects and many option subjects.

Classroom Re-Integration

Classroom Re-Integration

Our goal is to always aim for re-integration into school or classroom, however that may look for the student. We use our trusted professional relationships with the young person and School settings, along with our experience to support young people with this journey.

Animal Therapy

Animal Therapy

Using a trained therapy dog, this support mechanism helps young people cope with and recover from some physical and mental health conditions.

At Oak Activities we understand the importance of social, emotional and mental health and offer a wide range of management techniques for behaviour, anger and anxiety as well as interventions for relaxation and regulation.
