For individuals seeking assistance in accessing education, including those with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), and Special Educational Needs (SEN), we provide comprehensive support services. Our offerings include therapeutic support, sports and behavior mentoring, Forestry School programs, and top-tier academic tutoring and teaching. These services can be arranged for in-person sessions within schools, conducted online, or facilitated off-site, tailored to individual needs.

Emotional Literacy

At Oak Activities we believe in encouraging emotional literacy as a fundamental aspect of personal growth and wellbeing. Our approach understands the development of emotional awareness, expression, and regulation skills to empower young people. Lego Therapy

A therapeutic approach that uses Lego bricks as a medium for promoting social skills, communication, and collaboration in young people. An effective way to support the social, emotional development of a young person which promotes self-confidence and a sense of belonging within a group.

Art Therapy

Art Therapy

Using Art and Craft techniques as a vehicle to support students’ emotions and expression, alongside opportunities to talk to a trusted and empathetic adult.

Cooking Therapy

Cooking Therapy

A practical session that is completed alongside one of our trained team. As the session develops and trust is gained, students are able to open up and communicate, allowing them to feel heard and supported.

Drawing & Talking

A Safe, gentle and non-intrusive 1:1 therapeutic approach, used mainly for young people that have suffered distress or trauma.

Sports Mentoring

Sports Therapy

Using a range of sport equipment and techniques, this approach is used to explore students choices and develop their self-awareness, hand eye coordination and challenge the unhealthy or self-destructive behaviours seen.

Forest School

Forest School

An outdoor education, that takes place in an outdoor space at our sites. This helps develop pupils’ healthy engagement with risk, problem solving and self-discovery, using the natural world as a vehicle.

Our qualified primary, secondary and SEN teachers are highly skilled and trained in teaching to all abilities and in all core subjects and many option subjects.

Our goal is to always aim for re-integration into school or classroom, however that may look for the student. We use our trusted professional relationships with the young person and School settings, along with our experience to support young people with this journey.

Drawing and Talking allows individuals to discover and communicate emotions through a non-directed technique, setting it apart from existing solution-focused and cognitive-based therapies and interventions, that can often be confronting or limiting in the processing of pain or trauma.
TACPAC draws together touch and music to create a structured half hour of sensory communication between two people creates sensory alignment and helps people of any age who have sensory impairment, for example, visual impairment, developmental delay, complex learning difficulties, Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) or limited levels of communication
Relational Practice that supports the company to be Trauma Informed. We are currently accessing this course as a company to upskill all our team to understand the impact that Trauma can have upon a young person’s mental wellbeing. This course will enable the team to highlight concerns, be able to support the young people appropriately and deliver successful interventions to help the students make progress towards a happier and fulfilled life.
Motivational Map Practitioner tool allows us to look at each individual employee’s motivational preference to adapt and meet their needs. It allows us to foster a culture of motivation, high performance and a work ethic of development and growth. We have launched this across the business this year and found it to be an excellent tool.
Therapeutic Thinking Practitioner is an approach to behaviour that prioritises the pro-social feelings of everyone within the dynamic.
Offering an extensive library of resources for education professionals, leaders and parents on topics such as exclusion, good autism practice and positive relationships, as well as a series of Framework Documents for each education phase.
Club Hub is full of thousands of Baby Classes, Toddler Groups, Kids Clubs, Party Ideas and Holiday Camps.
This programme offers free holiday scheme places. It runs during the 2024 Easter, Summer, and Christmas school holidays for eligible primary and secondary school children and young people can attend. Confirmation from the government about whether the programme will continue into 2025 and beyond will be made in due course.
The programme is aimed at providing healthy food and enriching activities for primary and secondary school-aged children who are eligible for benefit related free school meals. In the summer holidays, eligible children can access up to Sixteen, four-hour sessions and at Easter and Christmas up to four, four-hour sessions.
